Grover Anderson, known for his poignant story songs echoing love, disappointment, and death, took a personal turn on his latest album, "Hold Tight Together." Departing from his usual narratives, Anderson explores his own life and family in every track, a departure from his norm of storytelling. Hailing from Murphys, California, Anderson's musical journey started after studying theater at UCSB and a transformative European trip where he wrote songs in every city visited.

Forming his band, the Lampoliers, in 2014, Anderson released albums like "The Optimist" (2014), "The Frontman" (2019), and "Ode to Small Towns All the Lies That I Have Told" (2021). With a resilient attitude toward rejection, Anderson's career saw milestones like opening for America, premiering singles on Apple Radio, and performing at Salmonfest in Alaska.
